No matter the challenges, we are here to motivate, inspire and encourage today's youth!
Start the journey today with our Group or Individual Youth Life Coaching programs designed to guide youth toward success, self-discovery, and growth.
Knowing who you are is the foundation of strong character, purpose, and authenticity. In this session, youth will engage in meaningful discussions and activities that help them discover who they are as individuals while developing personal insights that will help them grow as leaders. Participants will learn to reflect, improve self-knowledge, work towards personal growth and more.
In this session, youth will participate in a leadership style survey and engage in reflection to learn about ten different leadership styles that may represent the type of leader they want to be or presently are. We will teach leadership styles that include autocratic, bureaucratic, charismatic, democratic, laissez-faire, servant, situational, transactional, transformational, and ubuntu leadership styles.
In this session, youth will begin to discover their passions what energizes them, and understand the forms that superpowers can have in social, professional, or personal contexts. Participants will reflect on what feels effortless to them (activities in which they are completely focused), how they amaze others (being told they are good at something) and what makes them willing to sacrifice (a combination of passion and mastery).
Networking is about building relationships and getting to know the right individuals. Youth will learn how to make personal connections with people who can help them grow, establish relationships with individuals who will help support their goals, and create mutually beneficial relationships. This session will teach participants about being a good listener, being authentic, and being clear on what they want to achieve.
For this session, we will work with participants on building healthy and sustainable relationships. The emphasis will be on maintaining individual and mutual respect in personal relationships, learning to disagree respectfully, choosing partners wisely, and communicating healthy boundaries. Youth will be given opportunities to reflect and think about their perceptions of healthy relationships and what has been modeled for them.
To develop as leaders, youth must learn how to create S.M.A.R.T. goals. By creating S.M.A.R.T. goals, they will acquire the ability to recognize the bigger picture and improve their focus. Participants will be taught how goal-setting is a continuous process that requires constant update and revision. They will be introduced to the habit of goal setting and discover how having goals for the future will enable them to bring about positive change in their lives.
In this session, youth will learn how to win with people working together to complete shared goals. They will be taught that teamwork combines the individual effort of all team members to achieve goals, and to do so, individuals within a team must collaborate. Participants will learn how to lead teams while collaborating to improve productivity effectively and giving team members a sense of purpose.
This session aims to instill good financial habits for spending and saving. Young leaders will learn about the impact that money can have on them emotionally and how to manage their finances for the future. We will begin by unpacking their personal beliefs about money, how to take ownership of their finances early, leveraging earned income to work for them, and setting goals for saving and investing.
This session intends to teach young leaders how to communicate to get things done. They will learn how to leverage the power of effective communication, how to get people to understand and respond better, and decrease stress. We will teach participants how to avoid making assumptions, remove distractions, establish purpose, and tailor their communication to reach a broad audience for positive and influential leadership.
Controlling your emotions means managing and regulating your emotional responses, especially in challenging or stressful situations. It involves recognizing your feelings, understanding the triggers behind them, and using strategies to respond constructively rather than react impulsively. Emotional control allows you to stay composed, make thoughtful decisions, and communicate effectively, even when dealing with strong emotions.
Preparing for an interview involves researching the company, understanding the role, and practicing responses to common questions. It includes reviewing your resume to highlight relevant skills and experiences, preparing examples that demonstrate your strengths, and planning insightful questions to ask the interviewer. Good preparation also involves dressing appropriately, practicing good body language, and managing pre-interview nerves through relaxation techniques.
Choosing a career is the process of identifying a profession that aligns with your interests, skills, values, and long-term goals. It involves self-assessment to understand what motivates you, exploring various industries and roles, and considering factors like job stability, growth opportunities, and work-life balance. Researching career options, seeking advice from mentors, and gaining real-world experience through internships or job shadowing can all aid in making an informed decision.
